The future bride is a graduate of Mohonasen High School and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in travel and tourism management at SUNY Delhi. She is employed by The Golub Corp, Schenectady.
Her fiance is a graduate of Guilderland High School. He is a United States Marine Corp. Gulf War veteran. He is also employed by The Golub Corp., Schenectady.

Her fiance is a graduate of Schenectady High School and Schenectady County Community College with A.A.S. degrees in fire protection teaching, fire science and criminal justice. He is a firefighter and paramedic for the City of Schenectady.

Vincent M. Grassia and Carissa S. Pietrowicz were joined in marriage on August 11, 2007, at Union College Memorial Chapel by Deacon Richard Erickson and Father Marshall Vang.
The bride is the daughter of Christos and Sherry Christodoulou of Schenectady. The groom is the son of Vincent Grassia and the late Joyce M. Grassia of Rotterdam.
The bride was escorted half way down the aisle by her brothers George Christodoulou and Nicolas Christodoulou and then passed to her father, Christos Christodoulou, who continued the walk down the aisle, to present her hand in marriage to Vincent M. Grassia.
Krista Grassia, cousin of the groom was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Gina Grassia, Maria Grassia, Catherine Robichaud and Gabrielle Messmore.
Steve Grassia, brother of the groom was best man. The groomsmen were Joseph Seminary, Michael Furnari, Kevin McLean and Chris Sorell. Elijah Halsey was the ring bearer and Sabrina Grassia was flower girl.

Nick and Joan LaMarca of Rotterdam, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a party, given by their children, for 70 family and friends.
The couple were married April 27, 1957 at Second Presbyterian Church, Amsterdam.
The former Joan Crawford graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School. She is a homemaker. She enjoys travel, golf and is a member of the Ladies of the Rotterdam Elks and the Red Hat Society.
Nick graduated from Draper High School. He attended Seton Hall and graduated from Albany Business College. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. He has been employed with the Schenectady Insuring Agency for 51 years. He enjoys golf, gardening and is a member of the Rotterdam Elks and YMCA.
Their children are Nancy LaMarca-Stevens of Rotterdam., Nicole LaMarca of Key West, FL., William LaMarca of Maui, HI, and Tracy LaMarca of Fountain Inn, SC. They also have five grandchildren, Meghan, Nicolas, Olivia, Cameron and Jake.
