Mr. and Mrs. Donald Johnson of Scotia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Ann, to Mr. Joseph F. Rossi IV of San Diego, CA. Mr. Rossi is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Rossi III of San Diego, CA.
Stacy earned a bachelor’s degree from Siena College and a master’s degree from Northeastern University. She is a physician assistant in orthopedic/sports medicine in San Diego.
Joe earned a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and upon graduation served as an Air Force officer. He is currently a pharmaceutical representative for Pfizer, Inc.

Shannon Elizabeth Crate and Matthew James Lucca have announced their engagement. Shannon is the daughter of Robert and Carol Crate of Wilmington, NC. Matthew is the son of Linda Lucca of Niskayuna and the late James Lucca.
The future bride is a graduate of the Univeristy of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she received her degree in anthropology. She is currently pursuing her teaching certification in secondary education in science and social studies at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. She is an educator at North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.
Her fiance is a 1996 graduate of Niskayuna High School and Castleton State College in Vermont, with a degree in communications. He is currently pursuing his teaching certification in elementary education at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. He is currently employed by Alpha Omega Healthcare, providing services to youths and young adults with special needs. He was formerly technical director of news for WECT-TV, Wilmington.

Arnold N. and Grace Y. (Stay) Iovinella of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Corlaer Avenue, Schenectady, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner hosted by their daughter, Arlene A. Iovinella and her fiance, Steven T. Tonnesen and friends
The highlight of their anniversary was a 17 day Mediterranean cruise, which included ports of call in: Italy, Greece, Turkey, France and Spain, given and escorted by their son, Arnold N. Iovinella, Jr. and William Bozzetto.
The Iovinella’s were married in Schenectady on August 24, 1957 at St. Luke’s Church. Grace Iovinella, a graduate of Draper High School retired after spending 11 years in the Schenectady School system and 22 years in the United States Postal Service
Arnold Iovinella, a graduate of Nott Terrace High School, Siena College and Oneonta State University, retired after 32 years a fifth-grade teacher for the Mohonasen School Dist.
The Iovinella’s are actively enjoying their “Golden Years” traveling and spending leisurely time in their home in sunny, Tampa, FL.

Her husband is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and the University of Charlotte, with a degree in architecture. He is a field engineer for Turner Construction, Kannapolis, NC.
The couple are planning a wedding trip to Italy in the summer. They reside in Concord, NC.
Harold and Lottie Reed of Schenectady, NY are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Jonathan Paul Reed to Shelia Darlene Mickelson. Shelia is the daughter of Horace and Faye Banks (deceased) of Estill Springs, TN.
The groom is a 1981 graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and 2002 graduate of Wayland Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is also a retired soldier, after serving 22 years of active duty and continues to serve as a civilian government employee at Fort Meade, MD.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Wayland Baptist University, with a bachelor’s degree in occupational education. She has 17 years of service with the United States Army, including a tour in Iraq during the early stages of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She currently serves as the Department of Nursing Sergeant Major, Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The wedding was held January 5, 2008 at the SPA in Norwich, CT.
Kara Leigh Lanspery and Michael Steven Ostrander were married January 12, 2008 at Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. Rev. Godfrey Meghoo officiated. A reception was held at Hemingways Restaurant in Grand Cayman.
