Engagement: Leblanc and Reynolds

Jeff and Kathy Reynolds of Scotia announce the engagement of their son, Adam Reynolds, to Sarah Leblanc, daughter of Phillip and Irene Leblanc of Manchester, NH. Adam is the grandson of Mary Gaylord, and Mary and Herb Baker.
The future bride is a graduate of Memorial High School in Manchester, NH and Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. She is a case manager at Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley.
Her fiance is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. He is a project engineer at A.J. Martini in Winchester, MA.
An August 2008 wedding is planned in Manchester, NH.


Ward-Pedrotty
Engagement: Ward and Pedrotty

John and Mary Ellen Ward of Ballston Spa announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Ward to Simon Peter Pedrotty, son of Timothy and Georgann Pedrotty of Underhill, VT.
The future bride is a graduate of Saratoga Central Catholic High School and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. She is currently a pharmacy student and will graduate in May 2008 from Albany College of Pharmacy.
Her fiance is a graduate of Mount Mansfield Union High School and received his bachelor’s degree from St. Michael’s College and received his juris doctor from Albany Law School. He is employed by the Law firm of Clifford Chance in Manhattan.
A June 2008 wedding is planned.


Sowle-Yannucci
Engagement: Sowle and Yannucci

Vern and Eileen Sowle of Princetown announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Leigh Sowle to Michael Joseph Yannucci Jr. of Shoreham, NY. Michael is the son of Michael Yannucci and Colette Furcht of Long Island, New York.
The future bride is a graduate of Schalmont High School and SUNY Brockport. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree with dual specializations in mental health and school counseling at C.W. Post of Long Island University.
Her fiance is a graduate of Shoreham-Wading River High School and SUNY Oneonta. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree with dual certifications in elementary education and literacy at C.W. Post of Long Island University.
A July 19, 2008 wedding is planned.

Wedding: Jeffers and Deschamps

Megan Elizabeth Jeffers and Steven Edward Deschamps were married August 11, 2007. Megan is the daughter of F. Patrick and Nancy Jeffers of Latham. Steven is the son of Theresa Gagliardi of Brooklyn and the late Allen Deschamps of Catskill, NY.
The wedding was held at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville, NY. Rev. James Walsh officiated. A reception followed at The Century House. Maids of honor were Meredith and Melissa Jeffers, sisters of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Tara Deschamps, sister of the groom; Julie Black, Vincenzina Carl and Doreen Jackson.
Best man was Rob Carl. Ushers were Larry Van Dyke, Bryan Funk, Jason Christiana, Steve Osterhoudt and Troy Jackson.
The bride is a graduate of Shaker High School and received her bachelor and master degrees in literacy education from Sage College. She is presently employed as a reading teacher.
The groom is a graduate of Catskill High School and
Columbia-Greene Community College. He works in the mortgage and loan department at the Bank of Greene County.
The couple took a wedding trip to Disneyworld. They reside in Cairo, NY.

Anniversary: Obrecht

Bob and Pat Obrecht of Schenectady recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Bellevue Reformed Church. The party for family and friends was given by their children and cousin, Arlene Johnston.
The couple were married December 15, 1957 at Bellevue Reformed Church.
The former Patricia Scheels graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and SCCC. She retired form Schenectady Inner City Ministry. She enjoys traveling, reading and cooking.
Her husband is a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. He served in the army two years in Germany. He is a retired firefighter/paramedic for the City of Schenectady and retired from his lawncare business. He enjoys photography and traveling.
Their children are Robin (John) Krumanocker of Troy and Eric (Jane) Obrecht of Ballston Spa. Their grandchildren are Zane Krumanocker of Albany., Ian and Zoe Krumanocker of Troy and Colby and Jeremy Obrecht of Ballston Spa.

Michael E. Caffarella and Lisa M. Chagnon were married November 18, 2007.
Lisa is the daughter of Richard and Carol Chagnon of Rotterdam and Michael is the son of the late Edward and Marie Caffarella of Rotterdam.

Julie M. Hansen and Brian A. Incitti were married December 1, 2007 at Lakeside Garden, Las Vegas. Rev. Juan Gutierrez officiated. Maid of honor was Alice Reiff. Best man was Matt Incitti.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She is employed by the Girl Scouts, Schenectady.
Her husband is a graduate of SUNY Cortland. He is a teacher in the Schenectady School District.
