Pomeroy-Hotaling
Engagement: Pomeroy and Hotaling

Andrew and Anne Pomeroy of Glenville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Pomeroy to John Hotaling, son of George and Marge Hotaling of Rotterdam. Kristen is employed by Schenectady Regional Orthopedics. John is employed by the Schenectady Police Dept.
An April 2009 wedding is planned in Hawaii.

oann M. Oudt and John M. Notar were married August 29, 2008 at the Rotterdam Elks Club. Honorary Michelle Van Woeart officiated. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Florence Potts of Colonie and the late Elmer Potts. The groom is the son of Mario
and Eleanor Notar of Schen-ectady.
Matron of honor was Ann Guyer, sister of the bride. Flowergirls were Clare and Kate Guyer.
Best man was Dominic Notar, son of the groom. Ringbearer was Joe Guyer.
Mrs. Notar is a graduate of Colonie High School. She is a foreman at Stilsing Electric, Rensselaer.
Her husband is a graduate of SUNY College of Technology, Utica. He is a sales consultant at Lia Infiniti, Latham.
The couple took a wedding trip to Ft. Myers Beach, FL. They reside in Rotterdam.

Meghan Jane Elliott and James Coleman Farrell were married August 9, 2008. The wedding and reception were held at Samoset Resort, Rockport, ME. Dr. James Haddix officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of James and Jane Elliott of East Winthrop, ME, formerly of Niskayuna, NY. The groom is the son of Thomas and Ann Farrell of Glastonbury, CT.
Maid of honor was Jessica Cioffi. Matron of honor was Natalie Fitzpatrick. Bridesmaids were Ester Goodge, Anna Buffone Hurst and Dana Tulotta. Junior bridesmaids were Grayson Beherrell and Erin O’Brien. Flowergirls were Kennedy and Lily Fitzpatrick.
Best men were Ryan and Thomas Farrell, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Kristopher Elliott, brother of the bride and Chris Hillock and Damien Price.
Meghan is a graduate of Niskayuna High School and Boston College. She is a high school math teacher at Berkely Prep School in Tampa, FL.
Jamie is a graduate of Glastonbury High School and Fairfield University. He is regional vice president of Allianz Global Investors in Central Florida.
The couple took a wedding trip to BoraBora, Tahiti and Maui, HI. They reside in
Tampa.


Mario and Eleanor Notar 50th Anniversary
Anniversary: Notar

Mario and Eleanor Notar of Schenectady recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a family dinner party held at The Water’s Edge Lighthouse Restaurant.
The couple were married August 10, 1958 at the Church of Assumption, Mechanicville. They have four children and their joys are their 11 grandchildren ranging from 5 to 24 years old.
