Engagement: Marble and Salinetti

Douglas and Alice-Marie Marble of Niskayuna have announced the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Marble, to Michael Salinetti, son of Peter and Darinda Salinetti of Colonie.
The future bride is a graduate of Niskayuna High School, and received her bachelor’s degree in industrial design from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is an exhibit designer in Savannah, Georgia.
Her fiance is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, and received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is a second lieutenant in the United States Cavalary at Fort Stewart, GA.
A December 2008 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Goncerz and Gregg

Melissa Goncerz and Cory Gregg have announced their engagement. Melissa is the daughter of Richard and Teresa Goncerz of Schenectady. Cory is the son of Andrew and Carol Gregg, also of Schenectady.
The future bride is a graduate of Mohonasen High School, Plymouth State University and Russell Sage College, where she received her master’s degree in health education. She is a health teacher at Mohonasen Middle School.
Her fiance is a graduate of Schalmont High School and the College of Saint Rose, where he received his bachelor’s degree; and also his master’s degree in education psychology. He was a social studies teacher at Mohonasen High School. He is currently serving in the Marine Corps, in Iraq.
An August 2009 wedding is planned.

Mairaj Ahmed Elaine Czach
Wedding: Czach and Ahmed

Elaine Katherine Czach and Mairaj Mohammed Ahmed were married at an Indian wedding on June 29, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City, NJ with imam Mohammed Charaf officiating. An American wedding was held on July 5, 2008 at the National Museum of Dance, Saratoga Springs, NY with J. Michael O’Connell, former mayor of Saratoga, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Casimir and Carol Czach of Charlton. The groom is the son of Younus and Reshma Ahmed of Ridgefield Park, NJ.
Bridesmaids were Colleen O’Connor Wise, Leigh Kopczuk Yannuzzi, Kristine Ting Czach, and Tricia Simpson.
Groomsmen were Eddie Bajraktarevic, Balal Hussain, Joan Santana, Lorid Haxhiu, Kamal Kareem, Rami Gakhal, Steve Ahmad, and Willie Martinez.
The bride is a graduate of Syracuse University. She is employed at AXA Equitable, NYC.
Her husband is a graduate of Montclair State University. He is currently a medical student.
The couple honeymooned in Egypt, and now reside in Hackensack, NJ.

Wedding: Troncone and Buczkowski

Pamela Ann Buczkowski and Micah Joseph Troncone were married August 11, 2007 at Terra Cotta, Binghamton, NY. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Kathy Buczkowski of Scotia. The groom is the son of Leonard Troncone and step-son of Maria Troncone. He is the son of Christine Troncone of Binghamton, NY.
Maid of honor was Lisa Buczkowski. Matron of honor was Jenny Hudman. Bridesmaids were Rhonda Benjamin and Andrea McGowen. Flowergirls were Scarlet Hudman and Kelsey Troncone.
Best men were Michael Krom and James Lane. Ushers were Patrick Pender and Michael O’Brien. Groomsmen were Michael Medinosky and Mark Troncone. Ringbearer was Logan Troncone.
The bride is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School. The groom is a graduate of Windsor High School.
The couple took a wedding trip to Mazatlan, Mexico.

Elmer and Ethel Freeman
Anniversary: Freeman

Elmer and Ethel Freeman of Schenectady recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner party with family and friends at Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse, Albany, hosted by their children, Richard Freeman and son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Michele Freeman.
The couple were married August 9, 1958 in Lunenburg, Massachusettes.
The former Ethel Hilton served in the U.S. Navy. She is a homemaker. Her husband served in the U.S Navy. He was employed by General Electric, retiring in 1997 after 25 years.
They have four grandchildren, Richard and Meghan Freeman and Danielle and Jared Freeman, all of Schenectady.
The couple enjoy attending their grandsons’ sporting events and are avid NY Yankees fans.
