Engagement: Dennis and Bean

Mr. and Mrs. John F. Dennis of Rotterdam, announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen E. Dennis to Brad M. Bean, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bean of Wilmington, OH.
Karen is a graduate of Maria College. She is a registered nurse at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH.
Brad is a veteran of the US Navy. He is employed by Standard Aero as an inspector.
The wedding will take place in September of 2008.

Engagement: Daddario and Roberts

Anthony and Earlyne Dad-dario, of Rotterdam, announce the engagement of their daughter, Alisha Daddario to Kellen Roberts, son of William and Lee Roberts of Glens Falls.
The future bride is a graduate of Mohonasen High School and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, MA, with a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a pharmacist with Price Chopper Supermarkets.
Her fiance is a graduate of Glens Falls High School and Western New England College in Springfield, MA, with a bachelors degree in psychology. He received his master’s degree in educational psychology from The College of Saint Rose and is currently pursuing his certificate of Advanced graduate studies in school psychology from The College of Saint Rose, with anticipated graduation in May 2009.
A December 2008 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Pachucki and Myer

Mary Ellen Pachucki and Christian DeWitt Myer have announced their engagement. Mary Ellen is the daughter of Anne McCoy of Rotterdam and the late Christian Pachucki. Christian is the son of Peter and Marie Myer of Albany.
The future bride is a kindergarten teacher in the South Colonie School Dist. Her fiance is a social studies teacher in the North Colonie School Dist.
A July 2009 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Davidheiser and Compton

Cynthia and Thomas Davidheiser of Scotia, NY, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill M. Davidheiser, to Thomas J. Compton, son of Ellen Compton-Gentes, and the late David Compton of Blackstone, MA.
The future bride, a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School and Oswego State University, is a gross margin analyst with the TJX Companies, Farmingham, MA.
Her fiance, a graduate of
Blackstone-Millville High School
and a US Navy veteran, is a production technician with Florida Power and Light Energy, Johnston, RI.
A September 2009 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Piccirillo and Iyer

Nick and Gina Piccirillo of Schenectady announce the engagement of their daughter, Annmaria Piccirillo to Kyrish Iyer, son of R.B. Iyer and Elizabeth Tullett-Court of Port Washington, NY.
The future bride attended Mohonasen High School and received a bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany. She is employed by The Ayco Company.
Her fiance received his bachelor’s degree from The University at Albany and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in business administration from Union College. He is employed by General Electric.
A September 2008 wedding is planned.

Ms. Susan B. Simmons of North Hebron and Mr. Jon C. Stomski of Ballston Spa, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ms. Heather L. Stomski to Mr. Christian J. Carignan.
A wedding in early September 2008 is planned.

Tracy Lynn Quick and Darrell Eugene Schlicker were married October 19, 2007 at Mohawk River Country Club and Chateau in Rexford, NY. Rev. James Farrell officiated. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Deborah Quick of Scotia. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doris Henk of Scotia and the late Mrs. Sarah Leffler. The groom is the son of Eugene Schlicker of Bay City, MI and Barbara Schlicker of Saginaw, MI. He is the grandson of Edna Hahn.
Matron of honor was Tracy Hassenpflug. Bridesmaids were Deanne Richard and Darlene Depp. Flowergirl was Rachel Leffler.
Best man was Wayne Ryan. Ushers were Ricky Quick, Jacob Reiss and Rick Depp. Groomsmen were Todd Richard and Dennis Reiss. Ringbearer was Jacob Leffler.
The bride is a graduate of Northeastern University, Boston. She is a Title I Teacher in Midland Public Schools, MI.
Her husband is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston. He is a manager of Instrumentation & Probe Electronics Group at Jentek Sensors Inc. in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Geoffrey Hutchison Diana De Sanctis
Wedding: De Sanctis and Hutchison

Diana Angelina De Sanctis and Geoffrey R. Hutchison were married July 29, 2007. The wedding and reception were held at the New York Botanical Gardens in NYC. Rev. Richard Bentley officiated.
Diana is the daughter of Juan and Sonia De Sanctis of Forest Hills, NY. Geoffrey is the son of John and Janet Hutchison of Schenectady.
Maid of honor was Kathryn Oberle. Bridesmaids were Leigh Farrington and Heather Hutchison.
Best man was Kenric Taylor. Ushers were Gabriel De Sanctis and David Tobey.
The bride is a graduate of Oberlin College and Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a veterinarian in Pittsburgh.
Her husband is a graduate of Williams College and Northwestern University. He is a professor at the University of Pittsburgh.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Spain and reside in Pittsburgh.

Bill and Anne Schworm 50th Anniversary

Bill and Anne Schworm of
Burnt Hills, NY recently
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Glenville
Sr. Center on Saturday, June 28, fifty years to the exact
date of their wedding in Jacksonville, NC. Family and friends gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion with them.
Bill is retired from his own painting and papering business and Anne is retired from Union College. Both enjoy ballroom dancing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, and biking. They are members of the Cotillion Ballroom Dance group. Bill enjoys gardening and painting pictures, while Anne enjoys playing tennis and the organ. They share a mutual love of reading and traveling.
They have two children, Brian Wm. Schworm (Karen) of Hudson Falls and Jeffrey Schworm of Burnt Hills. Grandchildren include Kristy Owens (Mark) of Wyoming, NY, Jennifer Schworm of Hudson Falls, Michelle Fish (Chris) of Hudson Falls, and Max Schworm of Burnt Hills. Great grandchildren include Jonathan Wm. Owens, Austin Sterling Owens and Brian Christopher Fish, born July 30, 2008. Extended family include Judy Schworm, Laura Schoene, Nabi Syed, Nassir Syed and Corrine Baar.
They were treated to an overnight at the Great Escape Lodge prior to the reception and to the Lake George Dinner Theater after the celebration by their son Brian and wife, Karen.
The couple renewed their vows on June 29th at Our Lady of Grace Church with Father Jack Varno officiating.
