Anniversary: Chlopecki and Chlopecki

Ron and Claudia Chlopecki of Schenectady recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married December 28, 1957 at St. Adalberts Church, Schenectady.
Their children are Diane Collett of Hudson Falls, NY, Tricia Glenn (Chris) of Albany and granddaughter, Amanda Collett of Fort Ann, NY.

Ron and Leona Bottieri of Schenectady, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner party at the Red Lobster Restaurant, Colonie, attended by family. Tim Peek, their grandson hosted the party.
The couple were married November 30, 1957 at St. Luke’s Church, Schenectady.
The former Leona Warner graduated from Mont Pleasant High School. She was a data entry operator for the NYS Dept. of Audit & Control, Albany, retiring in 1995.
Her husband graduated from Mont Pleasant High School, Schenectady County Community College and Hudson Valley Community College. He also served with the NYS National Guard. He was a tax enforcement investigator for the NYS Dept. of Taxation & Finance, Albany, retiring in 1994.
Their children are Rick Bottieri of Schenectady, Lisa Bottieri of Rotterdam and Lori Peek of Colonie. Their grandchildren are Tim Peek of Niskayuna, Ricky and Ryan Bottieri, both of Rotterdam.
The couple met in high school and dated for 3 years before getting married.

Lindsay Leigh LaPointe and Matthew David Polsinelli were married August 31, 2007. The wedding and reception took place at Mallozzi’s in Rotterdam with the Rev. Todd D. Barton, uncle of the bride officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Andre and Kim LaPointe of Rotterdam. The groom is the son of Dino and Maria Polsinelli of Fultonville.
Maid of honor was Nikole LaPointe, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cristy De-Lacey, Victoria Wilson, Brittany Wilson all cousins of the bride and Victoria Giroux, friend of the bride.
Best man was Christopher Polsinelli, brother of the groom. Ushers were Dominic Polsinelli, brother of the groom, Stephen Marra, Floyd Purdy and Jason Blake, all friends of the groom.
The bride and groom are both graduates of Mohonasen High School. The bride graduated from Hudson Valley Community College and is an Ultrasound Technologist at AMC’s Women’s Wellness Center in Latham.
The groom is a graduate of Schenectady County Community College and is a carpenter at Niatrust in Gansevoort.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Disney and a cruise to the Bahamas. They live in Colonie.

Julie Rose Shapiro and Samuel Martynuk Massman were married on May 14, 2007, at Sorrel River Ranch Resort along the Colorado River near Moab, Utah, with their families present. Mayor Dave Sakrison of Moab performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Marilyn and Larry Shapiro of Clifton Park, NY. The groom is the son of Marilyn Martynuk and Dr. William Massman Jr. of Fort Collins, CO.
The bride is a graduate of Shenendehowa High School, Clifton Park, and Williams College, where she obtained a duel degree in English and geosciences. She completed her master’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Colorado-Boulder in December 2007.
The groom is a graduate of Rocky Mountain High School, Fort Collins, and the University of Colorado-Boulder, where he obtained a dual degree in geography and snow hydrology. He completed a master’s degree in land management from Colorado State University in December 2007. He is employed by the United States Forest Service in Eagle County.
They will make their home in Minturn, CO.
