Alfred Patterson OSB, uncle of the groom; Rev. Brad Heckathorne, Rev. John Koziol, Rev. Robert Schlageter, and Rev. Thomas Connery. A reception followed at Riverstone Manor.
Lauren is the daughter of Paul and Carol Heckman of Glenville. Jacob is the son of Paul and Sarah Patterson of Oneonta.
Maid of honor was Lesley Heckman. Bridesmaids were Katharine Patterson, Elizabeth Patterson, Krista DeNovio, Jennifer Paz, Kara Horne and Andrea DePinto.
Best man was Sean Segal. Ushers were Nathan Puritz, Timothy McGovern, David Schiavi, and John Paul Winchester.
The bride is a graduate of The Catholic University of America. She has been associate campus minister and is presently pursuing graduate studies at John Paul II Institute at Catholic University.
Her husband is also a graduate of The Catholic Univeristy. He is senior clinical research coordinator in oncology at Washington Cancer Institute. The couple took a honeymoon trip to St. Thomas. They reside in Washington D.C.
They live in Rotterdam.
