Tammy and Dan Downs of Old Route 23, Acra, have announced the birth of their son.

Ryan Anthony was born on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 8:45 p.m. at Albany Medical Center. He weighed seven pounds, three ounces and measured 20½ inches in length.

Grandparents are Shirley and Charles Harwood of Schenectady and Karen Downs of Schenectady.
